“I love my teeth and my smile. The work was done very softly and pleasant, and Dr. Gross and his team really cared and even worked on “odd” hours as I was a bit pushed for time leaving USA for Europe. Thank you Dr. Gross – Thank you Renee and the rest of the team – You are great!”

This is so Boca.
For nearly a decade, Dr. William Balanoff has been giving Botox treatments in his Boca Raton office. Balanoff is not a doctor. He’s a dentist, specifically a prosthodontist who specializes in dental implants and reconstructive dentistry.
“This overlaps with my specialty of giving people beautiful smiles,” Balanoff said.
The prosthodontist who also has offices in Broward County started offering the injections after his office manager, who went to a doctor for Botox, suggested he include the procedure.
Balanoff took a four-hour course at the University of Miami on Botox injections and weeks later began offering the service.
He estimates about 5 percent of his patients get Botox. “It’s a very simple procedure,” he said. “This was a natural fit for my practice.”
Balanoff charges about $500 to administer Botox to three facial areas of the face. He says that’s less than most dermatologists or plastic surgeons charge.
A recent survey of dentists by thewealthydentist.com showed 43 percent of dentists felt they should not be offering Botox.
