The cosmetic dentists at SmilePerfect no longer use traditional metal fillings made of mercury for many reasons. Aside from potential health risks, mercury amalgam cracks more easily and encourages bacteria growth. Instead, SmilePerfect uses porcelain composite as a filling material.
